Performers at the Queen's Birthday Celebration

It was a crazy ride, weaving between the gridlocked cars during a typical Bangkok traffic jam on the back of a motorcycle taxi.
But the celebration was full of traditional Thai outfits and dance.
The party in honor of the Queen will continue this evening.
Happy Mother's Day in Bangkok, Thailand.

Slow Times at Soi Cowboy

It has been fairly slow lately at Soi Cowboy, especially on the rainy evenings. Few customers, and in some bars few girls. I went into one bar for a little while with a friend, and came out it was pouring rain.
But the motorcycle taxis were still there, zooming through the Soi, trying to get customers. Like who wants to ride on the back of a motorcycle taxi in the middle of a downpour?

Taking A Date Out to Angelwitch

Saw Dave, the longtime manager of the go-go bar Angelwitch the other night. He was nice enough to buy me a drink (I asked for a screwdriver and got fresh orange juice and vodka) as we talked about blogging, the condition of Nana Plaza, and smoking in the clubs, etc... as this slender, cute, Asian-looking gogo dancer kept eyeing me.
Then we went next door to Spanky's where there was a clear plexiglass shower stall and girls hanging from the ceiling.....(There I asked for a screwdriver and got orange soda with vodka.)
Afterwords I picked up my latest squeeze, a Chinese Thai girl at Rainbow 4 nightclub and took her over to Angelwitch to see one of the best gogo stage shows in Bangkok. She really enjoyed the dance and stage routines, and after a little bit she leaned over to me and said "Me horny," which meant that it was time to go.
Angelwitch stage show, it works every time.

Letter to a Werewolf

Sorry Werewolf,
I've been busy documenting 200 Buddhas around Bangkok for Hawaii television.

Are you coming to The Big Mango party on Saturday?
I'm staying right across the street from there. (Its my old neighborhood.) Went inside for some desert after eating street noodles and crispy fish, settling on a bitter mango shot. (Asked for afterwords for a buttery nipple,
but the girls didn't know what I was talking about.) They need a couple deserts on the menu.

I went to Soi Cowboy to take some neon shots last night, using the girls that would grab me as human tripods........ It worked out well.

And realized that after bumping into a couple old Hog's Breath friends on the first night who left teeth marks on my unit, that some things are best left to professionals,
and I found a giggling loving polite happy one at Rainbow 4.
They train them well there, and to my surprise costing the same inflated prices as everywhere else.

Getting to Bangkok 2010

Flew from Hawaii to Norita on Jalways (part of Japan Air Lines and connected with American Airways) with with a nice lunch of chicken stir-fry and veggie with red wine. I found out that half of the stewardesses are Thai girls.
It seems that the country girls go to Bangkok to be go-go dancers, and the Bangkok girls learn English and Japanese so they can work for Japan Air Lines.
I think that there is also a preference of the Japanese to get other nationalities to wait on them.
I had the same seat, a window seat at the emergency exit.
The Hawaii to Norita was very nice with good food, free drinks, with plenty of leg and elbow room.
But the Norita Airport was humid and hot with carpet floors which made it harder to roll my luggage.
And the same seats were a lot smaller with three little seats in place of the two, and a very stuffy plane.
