Morning Night Bar 8th Anniversary at Soi Nana
Right around the corner of Nana Plaza is the Morning Night Bar, and last night they had their 8th Anniversary Party with free food,
lot's of girls from all of the Hillary Bar chain, live music,
pool tournament, and more.
It started out with a monk blessing, and lasted well into the night.

The Tavern in Bangkok - 4th Anniversary Party
Scott and the gang at The Tavern on Soi 4 (opposite Anne's Do Do) celebrated their 4th anniversary with a fun day-long party complete with lots of free shrimp and salad and fried rice. Later spare ribs and jumbo prawns were added.
I heard that a few of the female staff was invited to Nana Plaza to witness a ladyboy bar and later the stage show at Angelwitch.
All in all it was a fun time for the regulars, the newbies, and the staff.
Check out the Tavern when you're in the Soi Nana area. I eat there often for breakfast.

Blue Mountain Boys Performed in Pattaya, Thailand
The Blue Mountain Boys Band performed live in Pattaya last Saturday night. I ran into my Thai Cowboy buddies who invited me along on one of their gigs.
They go by "The Blue Mountain Boys Band". They do American country and bluegrass music.
(Every song is by Johnny Cash. That's what they say, whether it is or not.)

Late Night Soup in Bangkok Street Food
Late at night you can order on the street this soup, where they give you a bucket of hot charcoal to cook a clay pot of hot water and you put into it the meats, eggs, and veggies.
Its quite tasty.

Neon Lights at Soi Cowboy Pt 1
Here are a few shots of the neon lights of Soi Cowboy at night.
The crowds pick up at night if there is no rain,
and its always more fun when Na is around to brighten up my day at the Cactus Bar.

Riding Elephants in Thailand
I wanted a photograph of the elephants walking between the temples, but got stuck riding on one. Boy, that was a mistake. Its really hard to shoot the elephant as you're riding it. Most of the shots are the back of its trainer's head. So I got the trainer to get off and take this one of me and Tik in Ayutthaya.
Next... time I'll buy her a ticket and I'll walk along side photographing.
Oh, and by the way, an hour on an elephant is about 50 minutes too long....

Here is a small collection of the neon signs that I spotted during a quick walk-through at Nana Plaza. You may know some of these clubs and bars.

Being with Traditional Performers in Bangkok, Thailand
I spent a few hours with the traditional Thai dancers and musicians near the Siam stop on the Sky Train.
They perform the same song and dance over and over for the people who pay to have their meditations and blessings assisted in being heard.

Day 2 of The Queen's Birthday 2010
The second day of the Queen's Birthday celebration was much different from the first night as they honored the people in uniform on Day 2.
The rain came down as they served everyone spicy noodle soup to everyone there, and honored the Queen with all the people in town lighting candles and singing.
Happy Birthday to the Queen of Thailand.
